VIRGIN MARY PAINTING

"THE YELLOW ROSE OF PEACE"

The town of Marlboro, New Jersey has been blessed in that it has a very special resident named Joe, who has visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I have come to know Joe over the past sixteen years and I believe him to be a special, holy and blessed individual. The Blessed Mother has told him that she should be called "The Yellow Rose Of Peace".

Joe sees the Blessed Virgin in garb similar to Our Lady of Lourdes although her colors are different. Many of his visions have occured in his backyard grotto amongst the pine trees. Although painting portraits is not my forte, I was inspired to paint one of the Virgin Mary using the description Joe had given me.

This painting is dedicated to Our Blessed Mother, the Yellow Rose of Peace.
